Jönköpings Länstrafik Implements FRIDA’s Open Timetable Data Import

Jönköpings Länstrafik (JLT) is among the first to implement our new Open Timetable Data Import feature in FRIDA.

With a direct integration to Samtrafiken i Sverige AB via Trafiklab, open timetable data is automatically retrieved and analyzed. The result: an updated and quality-assured registry of routes and stops – with no manual input required.

“Our goal at Jönköpings Länstrafik has been clear – we want a single source of truth for all data. With FRIDA’s open timetable data import, we reduce manual tasks and thereby minimize the risk of errors. This is an important step towards a more robust, data-driven approach, where the quality of our traffic data is ensured from the start.”
– Louise Hollingsworth, System Manager for Traffic Data, Jönköpings Länstrafik

Behind the scenes, FRIDA does the heavy lifting: after each data load, the system flags any changes that require manual attention – a secure path to high data quality. At the same time, this integration lays the foundation for future development, including the publication of vehicle attributes in Trafiklab.
