In January, Region Stockholm’s Public Transport Administration joined the growing number of regional public transport authorities using FRIDA from Nordic Port to monitor contracted public transport operations.
As of April, the system is up and running: a vehicle database with nearly 2,000 buses from five different operators, combined with contract requirements – forming a solid foundation for safe, fair, and data-driven monitoring.
Last week, the first vehicle inspections were carried out at one of Stockholm’s bus depots.
