This week it’s time once again. As part of its recurring efforts in skills development, Västtrafik is now conducting its FRIDA training sessions for employees of the transport operators running contracted services.
Every spring and autumn these training initiatives are held – focusing on FRIDA, a central tool for monitoring requirements and goals in traffic contracts.
The training is aimed at both general and specialized public transport and covers several FRIDA modules. Participants receive a mix of presentations, demonstrations, and practical exercises – with plenty of time for questions and dialogue. The content spans everything from basic navigation and vehicle management to production, environmental reporting, traffic incident reporting, and vehicle inspections.
“Through recurring training in FRIDA we ensure that our transport operators have the right knowledge to deliver in line with our requirements and goals. It is an important part of our work for safe, reliable, and sustainable public transport.”
– David Pettersson, Västtrafik
“We are proud to contribute to this important work. By strengthening users’ knowledge we lay the foundation for continued high quality in contracted public transport.”
– Henrik Hamresand, Nordic Port
